These pictures were taken in November 2018, when Hearth and Home Quilters Guild presented Quilts of Valor to several deserving veterans.
November 11, 2018, the guild awarded Gregory Hearne a QOV. He served in the U.S. Army from Mar 2013 thru Dec 2017 and was medically discharged due to wounds. He was a sniper in Baghdad, Iraq. His mother Julie and dad Mike are in the pic too. His dad Mike is a U.S. Air Force veteran pilot and received a QOV about five years ago. And Julie’s dad Jimmie Vaughn is an Air Force veteran also, so we decided he also needed a quilt. Jimmie’s was awarded on 28 April 19 at Gath Baptist Church in McMinnville. One pic is Gregory with his parents Julie and Mike and the other is Jimmie, Mike and Gregory.
