Annually, a day will be set aside for ALL TVQA members to gather for fellowship and learning. Assembly Day is usually in July or August and is hosted and planned by a member guild on a voluntary rotating basis. Assembly days are typically planned around a theme (chosen by the hosting guild), and include a luncheon, door prizes, and a national speaker. Expenses for this event are paid by TVQA. The only cost to members will be the cost of their lunches.
Assembly Day first began in 1987 when Milky Way Guild planned a day for all TVQA members to get to know each other, have lunch and participate in mini workshops. The event was a tremendous success, and it was decided to make Assembly Day an annual affair.
